Indoor Aerials

There are tons of different models of indoor aerial and it may seem confusing which one to buy. In reality, it does not really matter. Despite the different shapes, designs, gadgets and amplifiers that some indoor aerials claim to have they all work pretty much the same and critically they only work as well as the signal strength they receive.

If the signal strength is poor where you live then it does not matter how much you spend on an indoor aerial it is not going to work. We sell a good quality simple model in our showroom which you can try.

Can I watch Freeview using a portable set-top aerial?

A small number of households might be able to use a set top aerial. This only applies if you live in a coverage area close to a transmitter, but reception would still be unreliable and so we strongly recommend that you use a rooftop aerial for good reception.

The only guaranteed solution for a perfect television picture is to take a feed from the main aerial. Our engineers can install a television point in this way to any room in your home and as many rooms as you require.
